Paris Saint-Germain 2 -Barcelona 2

BECK IN THE GAME ... Beckham started for PSG and whipped in a few of his famous set pieces

AFTER swapping trips to Real Salt Lake for matches in Reims, David Beckham once again walked along football’s red carpet last night.
The former England star was a surprise starter for PSG in his first Champions League game for three years.
And boss Carlo Ancelotti indicated he did enough to warrant another start in next week’s second leg at the Nou Camp.
Becks delivered a decent performance — although he was a spectator when an average quarter-final turned into an extraordinary one.
Golden Boules’ team were stunned by the man with the Golden Boot — Lionel Messi — who grabbed a first-half opener.
After leaving the pitch in the 70th minute, Beckham watched on as PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic levelled, Xavi scored an 89th-minute penalty to put Barca back in front, only for Blaise Matuidi to make it 2-2 four minutes into stoppage time.
Beckham looks certain to start at the Nou Camp as fellow midfielder Matuidi is suspended.
